Pardon me it this is too off topic, but,

does anyone have a URL for an article that compares the process of accepting 
other ideas that removed humans from the center of the universe.  I'm 
interested in the process of acceptance of ideas that are first thought to 
threaten a given religious belief but are later accepted.
