is there anything wrong with my modem configuration for a motorola

i am getting random hangings when connected to my uni's 28.8kbps modems.

when the modem hangs, i pick up the phone for 1/4 second and the

communication flow between the two modems start up again. this saves me

from having to re-connect.



if anyone knows or have solved this problem, i would like to hear from

you.
