Well all the speculation is over, Netcomm have announced that

a V33.6k will be available for existing modems.



According to the info I have the following modems will be able

to be flash upgraded :-



        * Netcomm Smartmodem 288

        * Netcomm Smartmodem 288D

        * Netcomm ProRack M34F          * Only 2mb Eprom Models

        * Netcomm VoiceMaster 288





The following modems will be able to be upgraded by returning

the modem to Netcomm for a $75 upgrade (They have 1mb Eproms,

Need 2mb) :-



        * Netcomm Smartmodem M34F

        * Netcomm ProRack M34F          * Only 1mb Eprom Models

        * Netcomm Roadster 288 (AM3450 & AM3451)
