Yep. According to my recollections, it's the downgraded model built on the
E5 platform to replace the SmartModem and AutoModem 1234 series. Working
from memory - don't have a manual or specs to hand.
Significant differences being that it does support a constant DTE speed
interface, and has the potential of a fax capability. (I'm not sure if you
actually have fax fitted or not - there were models each way.)

Get someone to set up a fax link with you. Seriously. This was a great
lark back when fax was common, and v32 wasn't - it's capable of quite a bit
of throughput in half duplex. (Which means that none of the standard
protocols work - but hey, something for nothing has the usual quality and
warranty..:-)
I don't know who currently has any datafax software - the only set I ever
had went the way of disk reconfigurations long ago.
Lacking that, engage MNP4, which it did have. This will help, giving the
sync 8 bits per character vis the async 10 bits per character.
