The RS DCC machine was made by a major mfgr I believe.  And I suspect if they 
continue to carry digital tape, likewise it will be mfgr'd by an outside 
company.  I'm not a fan of Radio Shack, I could tell you stories... but This 
other person wanted ideas about DCC.
