For most purposes, the word processor in Works is probably sufficient.
I bought Word mostly to use for creating help files, but I have found
that it does have sufficient other features to make it worth the extra
cost.  Of course, when I built my new system I went ahead and took
advantage of the low cost OEM version of Office...
BTW, does anyone know if Microsoft has any kind of upgrade if you bought
within 90 days of the new version like some companies do?
