Why ridiculous? South Carolinians should bend over to threats and
blackmail? I don't think it belongs on the dome but I have no problem with
it being displayed as part of the history and heritage here. Believe it or
not, it was not all about slavery. If so, we must take down the US flag
from our nation's capital as well. Far more offenses have been committed
under those colors. While we're at it will have to remove the cross from
Christian symbols as more than a few have suffered under it's shadow. It
goes on and on.

Clinton already said it is a ~disgusting symbol...I guess he should know
but would never admit it, being a practicing expert on the subject.

It has been voted to be removed and placed on the Confederates' memorial.
It does not appease the ignorant.
