Can you use the modem part. IE can you connect to a BBS?
Seems to me that the fax part of fax modems are much harder to get operable,
than the modem part. Possibly, also you have got the software set to drop the
line too soon. Look at your configuration settings as regards timing. Would
suggest a countdown time of 60secs.
Also look at your ATI6 screen after a dropout, and see what the "Disconnect
reason" is. That might tell you what the problem is.
