Well. If You are using Win95, then You are not using any active or store

profiles of Your modem. When You installed Your modem into Win 95, the 

Modem INF file has an Init string that it puts into Your registry.

Any 32 bit comm program will use this string, otherwise the 16 bit comm 

programs will use the string it has in it's program for Your modem.(or 

the one You put in).Now,,, all this means nothing if You are using

the AT&f0 command,then if You are ,Your are using the modems active 

profile.
