Your eulogy for Tom is a bit premature. I see no reason to turn
over the c_echo to people who have been away for a decade. You

I note the "agreed in principle" and would like to hear Tom's

Here's a unique idea. Why don't you and Bob start your own
independent C programming elist and find out if anyone wants to
join rather than cloak it as a FIDO elist when it really has
nothing to do with FIDO at all?
