RH> Yep! Got it too. I even make it next year, just to see what the fuss
RH> is about.
Made it up this week. It's worth the effort.
RH> You're up there, all right. You're probably closer to the imfamous
RH> Jim Bodle than I am.:) He's near Oneida....
Yup. We were discussing that at the picnic. My town is just across the N.Y.
border.
RH> If I want to get to the beach, it's an hour south of here.:) I don't
RH> like it much though - too much sand and sun. And no stove!
My sister's condo is equipped like a city house, but it is on a golf course.
Ocean Edge. Don't know if you know it. So I could cook to my heart's
ontent
if I wanted to. I rarely eat out when I'm down there, just pick up what I
need at the Stop n Shop.
RH> Funny, I didn't know those were Canadians. I thought they were
RH> mainframe programmers!
Good One! :)))))) I think it's Floridians that get cheesed off with Canucks
who invade wearing Speedos and ankle socks. We don't always send our best
out of the country!
RH> UGH. I picked 6 pints yesterday, and fridged them. By the time I got
RH> to them this afternoon, a lot of them were sprouting fur! Arggggh! I
RH> made jam out of the un-furry ones. We're getting some serious rain
RH> now, which will kill a lot of the ones currently getting ripe, alas.
RH> The apples will be fine though, and since I need to make apple
RH> sauce.....
My raspberries are trying to beat the first frost with a crop of fall
erries,
but the locusts are still around. Last year, I was picking them well into
fall. Right now, their progress is being monitored by gigantic bumble bees.
This has been a fine year for bugs!
Take care,
Flo
... I'm in shape ... round's a shape isn't it?
