This is definitely not too important a distinction, as the
vanilla Opus I'm running doesn't require the user to enter that
nasty key demanded by those systems running external
mailers, but just for clarification and for anyone who does have
trouble connecting here.
Yep, Vanilla Opus, the legitimate child of the original Fido
software, does not support EMSI in any shape or fashion! In
other words, make sure that your Fidonet capable mailer, in
addition to supporting EMSI, falls back to the only true standard
accepted and required by Fidonet policy, FTS0001, if you're file
requesting from BlinkLink! Meanwhile, all you Commo macro
writers, aren't you glad there is at least one system out there
in Fidonet that doesn't require you to look for an EMSI or
in your logon scripts?
