For the purposes of the story, I need it to be the same station. It can ha= ve
upgrades and perhaps even expansion (although I am not leaning in that
direction), but it can't be replaced.
In "Trials and Tribble-ations," I don't think we saw the station
in the tim= eframe
of DS9, but only in the past, although the new model (CGI I presume) does
make it look nicer.
