Maybe, maybe not. It all depends on the code in question. AFAIK, MSVC is
pretty weak in its POSIX support. But for maximum compatibility, you could
always set up one of the Win32 ports of GCC (Mingw32, Cygwin, or RSX/NT)
and use that instead.
