I'm having a real #{at}*& of a time getting one of these Telecom modems to
work properly under TELIX and in HOSTPLUS mode. It doesnt seem to like the
ATA string and constantly fails to establish carrier or pick up the call
when in host mode. Has ANYONE got one of these things to go well? How did
you do it?  The modem has just so many variables taht can be altered. Maybe
you could give me examples of the strings you've had the most success with.
PLUS I've read the manual through for whatit's worth!
