only 100,000 years ago.

What do you mean by technologically advanced? What do you mean by long
periods.

If you mean, they wrote down numbers in the way we do today, then it's
hardly rocket science is it? If you mean until the Catholic Church
stopped killing people for knowledge then, you may be right.

However, Islam still kills people to stop them spreading their
knowledge, and the renaissance was 500 years ago.

Yes, but he didn't have the advantage of having 10 million German
footsoldiers already in England. 30 years from now, there'll be ten
million muslims living here.
