Sorry I was unclear - I'm *still* not a writer! :^)
What I was trying to say is that the updated Netscape files are available
only from IBM (they requested, and most everyone is complying, including me)
that it not be uploaded anywhere so that they could keep track of the demand.
This is causing me a problem at the moment because when they posted the newer
release, which caused numerous problems on my system, the version it replaced
(the one designated as "International") disappeared everywhere. What I would
like to do is get that older version, delete completely the newest version,
and install the International version again. It worked rather well, once I
fixed the 'wierd P-button' problem.
I'm not sure what 'security' bug was fixed in the current release, but if it
was a Java problem I'm not concerned - I have Java disabled until someone
figures out a way to prevent some WaY KeWeL 10 year old from destroying my
system from afar (if folks don't know what Java is capable of - all of it -
THEY SHOULD!)

Saw this post the first time - thanks! I clipped and saved it.
LN> www.warpcity.com has a pointer.
Closed as of yesterday, due to incessant whining. :(

At least in my experience, the difference seems to be that the International
version breaks almost nothing, whereas the current release breaks a number of
things, one of which it should not because it is completely (as far as I can
see) unrelated to Netscape, TCPIP, or anything of the kind.
My problem is that I can't find a copy of the complete release, including
plugin support, anywhere I've looked.
