Isn't it true though, if with a hung jury, they can re-try the
defendant?  I thought I heard something about the Menendaz brothers
were going to be re-tried, this time at seperate trials, or was I
hearing the wrong thing?

I thought about that, after I sent the message... In LA, IMO, those
who were doing the looting and all didn't give a damn about the
trial or the results, but more so were more concerned about getting
merchandize through the newly created drive-through windows at the
stores. They used the trial as an (excuse) to loot.  It was wrong.
I didn't buy the liberal explanations that they have been so
economicly depressed for so long, that they just wanted to get a
piece of the pie.   Was it the store owners fault that the
government keeps the poor people poor, put them on welfare, promote
single-parent families, so they grow up on welfare without any
values or morals?  IMO, EVERY property owner should have been on
the roof of their store, and shoot ANYONE that loots from them.
If every property owner was at their store, with a gun, I doubt
if mush looting, burning, or rioting would have gone on.
Would you crash a window and grab a TV or sterio if the owner
was there pointing a rifle at you?
