Try AT*N6 for a start, that should allow it to go to 14400.

To restore original settings AT&F and then AT&W, however depending
on the level of your code, some versions didn't have 100% correct settings
as factory defaults...

This is all from long ago so I'm not too sure, but my Spirit 2 is working fine! :)
