As I noted last month (did you not get a copy of the message?), it did
turn out to be a user setting; after correcting it, I was able to log in with
no other issue. As I also noted then, I still wonder why it became an issue,
since IIRC the setting I changed had been operational under the old install.
I'm more likley to use Golded now, than log in to the BBS, but it is good
that the latter is available again...
