subject: Modem problem

Hi Tom,

SH> But now since I have 2 modems (com port 1 & 2 with standard IRQ)
SH> there seems to be a problem with uploading to my BBS. Heaps of
 SH> errors
SH> with re-tries!! (The upload protocol has not been changed)
SH> I can actually have both lines active with Users Downloading both
SH> at the same time without any problems.

TP> You need 16550 buffered UARTs (that's the serial port chip on your
TP> I/O card) on this setup. Chances are that you've got normal I/O card

Well I have a good 16550 UART Serial card made just for high speed
modems!
