You wish. If it were the case campaign appearances at his college wouldn't
be a requirement for  Republican Presidential candidates.

Falwell and his ilk are part of the deal with the devil (and formerly
Democratic segregationists in the South) that GOP strategists made in the
70's to assure the rise of the GOP.    Like it or not, he is one
of the voices of your party.
