Seems like you also found a reason.

AP> I have two functional hours at most every day... TWO at most sometimes
AP> less. I can't watch and follow television. Motion on TV makes me
AP> sick. Affordable healthcare isn't affordable. Those of us who worked
AP> hard and put in get no help.

Healthcare is not a bank account, what you put in was spent for someone else.
And what is being spent on you has to be put in by someone else.

AP> Those who step foot on American soil as
AP> refugees get cars, homes, full medical (and many of them are in very
AP> good health) everything.

Just like you got all of that.

AP> I have very little luxuries...

Your own house, your own car, Internet and lots of medicine ...
If you consider that to be very little, talk to someone living under a bridge.
Or go to a place in Africa where people work all day to earn 150 US-Dollars a
month, walk five miles to get water from the next dirt hole without stepping on
a land mine and diarreah or pneumonia is something you die from.

AP> I had some savings but it's almost depleated.

If you worked that hard, where did it all go?

AP> What about other Government to Government welfare. We are the only
AP> nation in the world that is borrowing money to give to other
AP> nations... the ONLY nation in the world to do this.

No, you're not. I cannot think of a country that is debt-free and I cannot
think of any european country that is not paing development aid. Acutally,
Germany is paying development aid to China. But on the other hand, the two
largest pices in the pie chart of expenditures are on wellfare (about 40-45
percent) and interest on debts (around 15 percent, but currently decreasing due
to low interest rates). I don't know numbers about the US, but I think you pay
less on wellfare and more on military.
Now let's have a political vision ignoring your personal situation. Would it be
better to spend money on people who are old, handicapped or lazy or on those
who are yough, healthy and motivated?

AP> And we are
AP> neglecting our veterans, we are neglecting our own elderly and
AP> disabled to take care of others in the world...

On the contrary, most governments are spending money on those who have lived
their lives, because they're the majority of the voters. Just look at your
system of education, people graduating from university start with a lot of
debt, but why? They are the ones who are going to pay a lot more tax than
simple workers. Wouldn't it be a good investment to pay universities from taxes
and then get more taxes from having more people graduating from universities?
On the other hand, what do you get from people who retired? Are they paying
taxes at all?
