'73 Oldsmobile Delta '88.  We tried through the back seat.  The wire goes 
_somewhere_, but we couldn't figure out where.  Ended up going through a hole 
in the back deck.
But that just gets me from the trunk to inside the car.  The problem is 
running the wire from inside the trunk to the antenna.  The trunk-mount CB 
antenna has a clamp with a place to feed the wire so it's protected from the 
squeeze and twist of the trunk closing on it.  A scanner antenna without that 
protection starts wearing through pretty quickly, I discovered.
I'm working on getting an extra clamp just to use for that purpose...
