I was having this discussion t'other evening with a US mate (via skype)...

What is it about Republicans & their (in theory) "black &
white" views on right & wrong, guided as they are by their
"strong moral compass" etc.etc. & yet....

Bush - Libby, "the hammer", a generally sleazy Republican
dominated congress (need help turning taxpayer cash into your cash..call
1-800-GOP.......) etc.

Reagan-Bush snr - Iran Contra

Nixon - Watergate


etc.

???

How come? It is so consistent there has to be an underlying reason for it.
