The actual definition of sex states that as well.  

The real problem is that humans are one of the few species in which 
sex is also for recreation.  And, domination.  

Humans are very closely related to chumpanzees.  I wonder if the 
relationship to bonobos is greater or less . . .   My guess would, 
based soley on observation, would be less.
