| subject: | ACORN CORRUPTION |
- JF> Show me where I say anything that comes close to that. BK> You keep harping on the fact that they turn in bogus BK> registration forms, or duplicates, but you are the one BK> ignoring the fact that the law *REQUIRES* them to turn BK> in those forms. JF> In your opinion. It is a given that they turn in their JF> reg'froms, as is required by law. Why would they go JF> through the trouble of falsifying forms if they were not JF> going to turn them in? BK> Why would they bother to falsify registration BK> forms if they know they will be rejected? Obviously they didn't know in many cases and figured many forms would make it through and some would not. What ever your speculation about their complicity may be, it doesn't change the fact that many falsified forms, beyond all other proportions, have been submitted, 'by law', oh yes, by ACORN. Anyone can do something 'by law' to commit a greater fraud. BK> Remember, Acorn gets nothing out of it BK> unless the registration is valid. ACORN is a (very) well funded, leftist jaunt who can no longer hide behind the facade of 'helping the poor to vote'. Their pattern of behavior has gone on for too long for any sober person not to notice. A pattern of behavior ACORN has not bothered to change. Year after year, they get caught. The ACORN administration has done nothing outside of the realm of reprimanding and apologizing for it's offenders, for PR purposes typically, and use the same sort of fuzzy logic to get themselves off the hook in the publicity theater. They are complicit. BK> They want voters to vote, not just registrations BK> on the books. And esp not rejected registrations. That is only true inasmuch as they want to garner Democrat votes. And I'm sure they submit a token amount of republican votes, so forget about going there. BK> Try to think of any possible motive for Acorn BK> to falsify registrations Sure, there's many thousands of voters they can use, if they cut corners, falsify and address or signature, and at the same time have a way to claim irresponsibility for themselves as others have attempted to do around here. BK> if they know they will not result in someone voting. They don't know that. They caught many forms...one can only wonder how many slipped by. You will assume none, if any, I will assume many. It does not change the fact that falsified and bogus forms keep coming from ACORN, and have been for many many years. BK> So, if you say they should not turn in the forms, BK> then you are saying they should not obey the law. JF> I never said they "should not turn in the forms", or JF> anything that comes close to it, so your whole line here JF> is nothing but a transparent attempt to divert attention JF> away from ACORN's (very) long history of corruption. BK> Yet you now admit they are obeying the law? Just the one law. And when did I ever say they never obeyed any laws? Surely you know you can break some laws by employing others. So we can get off that horse any time, Bob. Hopefully soon. Nothing said here changes the fact that bogus forms keep coming from ACORN, in proportions matched by no other source, no matter what particular law they manage to obey in the process. --- ** Origin: Doc's Place BBS Fido Since 1991 docsplace.tzo.com (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 140/1 226/0 249/303 250/306 SEEN-BY: 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 396/45 SEEN-BY: 633/260 267 285 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 105 SEEN-BY: 2905/0 @PATH: 123/140 500 261/38 633/260 267 |
