Hello Bob -

Not sure what "around" means. I haven't seen you posting
anything that I can recall.

I've been online since before FIDO existed using "The Source"
originally and it had SIGS with messages from users. I used to
read the "APPLE Users SIG" messages and "WINK" magazine.

DM>> I really need to convert my fido over to Linux. There are

I have two Linux installs and both of them can access QWK
packets, read and reply using ATP for Linux, and upload them
back again.

Linux is no more 'powerful' than W2K for all the network server
stuff. That's folklore and fantasy.

DM>> I'm no longer in Toronto (nevermind what net I'm in), but

BS> Great! Does this mean you'll be rejoining 342? We'll have

I'm still in Michigan near Detroit where I've always been and
Jason Betts is in Australia. Wayne Chirnside is in Florida. Not
sure about everyone else but we can take a poll and find out.
