BUt those remaining are quite zealous and accuse the rest of us of really
picking on poor Sarah, as if she didn't make a
good enough target out of herself.  I still say Barry
GOldwater must be spinning in his grave.

MOdern conservatives in the GOldwater mold will have to do
something to salvage their political identity, and so far
I"m not seeing them make the effort, which is surprising.
After all, with all these internet tools at their disposal
it would be easily enough done, but the ultra rightist wack
jobs are still dominating any discourse coming from that
side of the political fence.  LET's hope maybe the
libertarians can capitalize where these folks keep shooting
themselves in the foot.  Big government and the nanny state
is still not the solution.
