That was G. Gordon Liddy. The story is that he was trying to recruit
somebody, and the potential recruit was afraid of having his cover blown.
Liddy held his hand over a candle flame to convince the recruit that nobody
could make him talk.
If I can figure out how the progression from Cthulhu to G. Gordon Liddy
relates to filk, I'll get back to the thread; otherwise, I think it's about
played out.
