I had often wondered why the negative comments about Carver then seeing 
Claire and them at the same venues. :)

Heh!  BTW, we're using the EAW cabinets at Sam's Town. (Casino)  We have six 
bottoms and have 8 tops flown.  I believe the place seats about 2000 people 
or so.  Any comments on those?
We finally got them to stop renting the lighting system and shell out some 
money for their own.  It's just too bad you can't buy the Vari-Lite systems. 
:) We used the VL-5 and VL-6 for the Mandrell show.  They brought 24 total! 
Needless to say, to show was great.  Of course I was assigned to one of the 
spots and by the end of each show I was about ready to drop it on the LD's 
head.  He was calling queues and not following up on them and screwing up on 
fades, etc.  But it's another day, I'll live. :)
