 Back in 2000 I predicted the downturn that we have never come
 out of. I also predicted the GW Bush would screw it up so badly
 it would be hard for a republican to win the presidency for a
 long time.

 I did not say that because I thought the democrats would do such
 a wonderful job, but because I thought the republicans would to
 such a terrible job.

 Of course, that doesn't mean the democrats can't screw it up
 too.
