I am just wondering if the Gov is going to use the Dome for any events.

If they want to spend money "regenerating" the east end
then....spend all 9.5 billion on....regenerating the east end not on a
global "bread & circuses" where the pols are getting
"free tickets" & get to puff their chest out at a cost to the
rest of us......of at least 9.5 billion...

To give one the idea...that's about 3X the cost of our 2 new aircraft
carriers....so we could have another 6 aircraft carriers or...the
olympics....

Or our troops could be well equipped...

Or our transport network could be radically expanded/improved for decades
ahead....etc.etc.

Or people could run in circles for 2 weeks.
