i set most of mine for 3 years plus a few days to cover leap years and then
some... this because the MSGID expiration is 3 years ;)

storage isn't but possibly dead space or mainly dupe databases not being able
to cover at least 3+ years... some systems still have old limitations in
place... (eg: file system limit of 2G)
