Welcome to Parrots!

What kind of air filter do you have? Perhaps the one you have isn't
large enough/strong enough for the bird dust problem.
>What do you "Professional Parrot People" do about dust? Those

*I* just live with it, and vacuum often. But I'm not allergic (not yet,
anyway). A local friend who has asthma (and 24 cockatiels) has a
Honeywell "Envirocare" air cleaner and swears by it. It catches even the
really tiny dust particles. She changes the filter once a month, and it
does well for her. It cleans about 2000 sq ft an hour, I think (don't
hold me to this, I don't have the manual to read exactly what it does).
You can get these things just about everyplace these days--check your
local large department stores. I think they're about $200 for a big one,
and they have a smaller one, but I'm not sure of the price. Good luck--I
know how uncomfortable allergies can be.
