Well the kid's calmed down a little chuckle.. she's something to watch when 
she gets that happy to be out..  spent the first few days bucking and hoping 
all over the place when I turned her out..
 
She and Staw went out together late night.. and while they were feinting at 
each other a lot about kicking.. she hauled off and nailed him good!
(Just like her Mom) ;)
 
Both of them raised such a ruckus that Straw threw a shoe.. and Tush chipped 
a couple of her hooves..
 
Today it was off on the trail on Coffee with the kid in tow..  she was a 
champ since she's managed to burn off a bunch of the extra energy.. :)
 
I'm beginning the think that there's nothing this kid won't do if asked..
 
She's learned to stand (well we're getting there).. and Meg will hate me.. 
but I took my little cordless clippers into the stall and just cleaned her up 
without bothering to put a halter on.. Just like her Mom she  loves the 
clippers.. and doesn't fuss about the ears.
 
 
She's learned to go jogging with me in the arena..  so we're doing a couple 
of laps side by side..
This week she learns about atail bag.. chuckle.. she didn't care about the 
little thingie I put on her head for the bugs.. it's kinda arabie.. and cover 
the ears with the little dingleberries sho'ing the fly out of her eyes..
 
The kid is going to be better looking then Mom.. :)
 
 
Coffee was a brat about her on the way out..  but he settled... We may soon 
try crossing the river.. but I'm not real fond of the idea..
 
THe Saddlebred mare is a trip... She's smart and willing when you settle 
her.. she was a tad pissy about getting saddled tonight but took it.  She's 
so skinny and out of tone.. that I'm being very slow to work her.. I don't 
want her tripping over herself.. lord is she skinny!
