Does it have the rotary magazine or the removable box?  I thought ALL 
the old take downs had the rotary, you've got me confused.....
I believe the rotary mag. is one of the really great features of the 99, 
I like the box mag. but not as well...
Where's the safety on this thing?  Is it on the tang or is it down on 
the side of the lever?  That'll help identify it.
