Thats ok. Cherry Tomatoes do just fine as long as they get a little full
sun ¨for 3 hours a day. Thats why they do well on porch gardens. Bter
than most ¨other tomato types in fact. The next best is the fleshy, not
very watery, ¨italian types. Oddly the more watery the type is, the more
it seems to require ¨full sun in my experience and the harder it is to
garden them on a porch.

Here's a really easy one. If you like green onion tops, next time chop the
¨bulbs off when you get home and plant them (save the greens for use). You
dont ¨have to get more than a normal few sprigs but get a long planter just
for them ¨and add to it. Planter should be a 5 inch deep longish one (I
used on that was ¨almost 3 feet long, plastic or wood depending on what i
had at the time). I ¨lined the bottom with old bluejeans that had expired
usefulness to allow the ¨holes to still drip, but not get dirt all over the
porch everytime i watered ¨the planter. The bulbs will not only provide
another crop, but will continue ¨to do so seemingly forever (they winter
over and come up next year).

Mint is also easy. The only care there is to not drop any clippings in the
¨grass below as they will try to take over the grass and sometimes, they
win ¨that battle .
