Do you need that amount of memory?
I actually never use more than 2 GB.
I go for 4 GB to be on the safe side, but 8 GB is overkill _for my usecases_ :)

Anyhow it is great that it is available and maybe other people do more memory
intensive stuff on their Pis :)
