If you want help, I'm able to devote some time to working on SNIPPETS
(however money is in short supply as work is a fadeing memory).
The motivation is the use I've made of it for my commercial work
(Control systems & Embedded systems) and wanting to return something
(even if only the modified julian.c code I've used).
I've also got an archive of a prototype public domain portable version
of Al Stevens DFLAT library which I've done a little work on.
I don't currently have Inet access, but I suspect Neil Walker (my
other boss node, I'm 2:250/501.3 there) who is on the Inet full time
would co-operate in providing access for this type of project.

Sounds good to me. A moderated list will make it easier to fire-fight
to occasional flame war.
