Thank you :)

That's pretty cool.. I enjoyed using RA and FD. I ran mine in DOS though, and
experimented a bit with using DESQView for multi-tasking. When I started my
BBS again a few years ago, I wanted to go with something more modern this time.
I started setting up EleBBS, a modern 32-bit clone of RemoteAccess. I ended
up settling on Synchronet though - and I'm running my BBS in Windows XP. With
EleBBS, I noticed it wasn't running the timed events; Synchronet also includs a
lot more in terms of functionality. It also looks like EleBBS isn't being very
actively maintained. For FidoNet, I'm using Radius (a 32-bit Windows program).

It's cool that the original developers are still around.. I remember RA being
sold to Bruce Morse though, and that he didn't do much with RA. I've read that
Andrew Milner sold RA because he ended up starting an ISP and wasn't interested
in developing RA anymore.

I've been enjoying running a BBS again in the last several years. :)
