Does the Netcomm SmartModem E4 model SM7000 max out at 2400 BPS?
I have one that has a label showing LED indications for data up to 14400
and fax up to 9600, yet it appears to only be a 2400 modem.
ATI returns 240 which again suggests it is only a 2400 data modem.
I hope I am wrong. If so would sombody tell me how to get higher speeds
out of it?
