The most perplexing warning I've come across lately was from WATCOM C while
compiling the Binkley 2.60 source code.  "Pointer truncated". 
The BTPE diffs came in handy there (thanks!), but only after I had worked
out what the problem was.  Took me a while.  It'd be nice to see a compiler
that not only displayed the source code line where there is a compiler
error or warning, but also the column.  A la Borland Pascal...
