PRESS RELEASE  21/04/1997
          BROADCASTS VIA HIGH POWERED TRANSMITTERS BASED AT THE UKRAINE
Due to problems providing the Ukrainian broadcaster with programmes the 
broadcasts of Radio Marabu via the Urakine should start now on April the 23rd 
on a "reduced rate" with programmes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 
12.00 to 13.00 hours UTC (15.00 to 16.00 hours local Ukrainian time).
From mid May onwards the programmes will increase step by step to the earlier 
announced schedule.
