Stoats,weasels & polecat/ferrets are famous for (a) killing many more
than they can eat & (b) hunting for fun.

It's why they make such usefull hunting animals.

My hunting dogs also hunt for fun as you can feed em before you go out
& they will always hunt & it's what demonstrably makes them happy.
