    Who *is* the moderator, Bob? This whole debacle is completely off
topic, and the sooner the moderator tells both sides to behave themselves
the better.

    As to Fido rules, it has been established for at least a decade that a
lawful mail properly posted cannot be annoying behaviour. OTOH, persisting
in an off-topic unpleasantness after being told to quit by the moderator
*is* a breach of the rules.

    Would somebody please post some C code that we can get our teeth stuck into. :-)
