BG> Doesn't B1 in your Courier's dialling string work for you?  You need B1 set
BG> originate mode, although HST will still be negotiated if you use the defaul

 You also have to turn off V.34+,V.fc and V.terbo :) (and V.8).. Cant quite 
remember but that sounds good enough for me :)
