I had a thought, for a ship named columbia, an appropriate phrase to put on
the commisioning plaque would be "..Mankind is led into the darkness
beyond our world by the inspiration of discovery and the longing to
understand..."

Of all the things I have seen, heard, and read so far dealing with the loss
of Columbia this statement seems to best embody "Trek".
