On the political side of this disaster, my concern is that the US is being
shown as a lot more vulnerable to disturbances than we in the rest of the
world would have imagined.

You want men on the moon; you want to take out a dictator - no problem.

You want to provide clean water and food to US citizens five days after a
storm - well, there's a bunch of issues.

The other point that slams into us remote TV-watchers is the amazing
coincidence that 99% of the people shown in the ruins are black.
