    What error(s) are you actually seeing?  I'm not seeing any issue like that,
but then I explicitly define where the config file is when I call it:

/usr/bin/tinytic --config-file /opt/sbbs/ctrl/tic/tinytic.cfg

    Note also that I've also been testing a TinyTIC Debian package on that
system, which I plan to make publically avaialble...  (an archive, that it;
 the source for the debian directory is already available in the
repository)
